Chapter 1 - this is me Hello! My name is Siri and I live in Awesome Centre with my husband Törje. He is very fit. Love to playing hockey and so, but back to him later.
Then I have lots of children and grandchildren. I can barely remember them... because they live so far away and they are so many. I love them very much, but everyone of them lives on Hawaii.
On my spare time (I always have spare time), I love to surf on the internet and edit pictures. I love todays technology. It's awesome. And the futures technology even better.
I like cooking and I try to eat the right food. Because I'm scared to be fat... :/ When I was a teenager I was on the gym every day. Okay, it wasn't any gym that time, but I went to practice gymnastic. I was very good, I can tell you.
Now do you think what age I am. I can tell you I'm not a teenager anymore - I'm 67 years old! Törje is 69 years old and he plays hockey!
If you wonder my length, I'm 1 meter and 64 centimeters. But it doesn't matter.
People say that I'm young to my age... maybe it's right, but I just live my life as I want it.
This is me! :D ...and this is Törje... :) <3
Törje is a very good man, but kind of strange. He is himself, but I still love him. He's a very good dad and grandfather to our children and grandchildren. Törje teach them hockey, basketball and other boring sports. I just like gymnastic and figure-skating. But he is very, very good! :)
Törje is quite big compared to me, but he is very fit. Sometimes Törje is very restless and he goes out. He just leaves! And after like five hours, he comes back. He can't do crosswords. It doesn't works.
Chapter 2 - our house
Me and Törje live in an apartment in Awesome Centre. We live on the second floor. But if I could choose floor, I would choose the highest floor, because of the view over the sea and the harbor. But our apartment is very good - light with big areas. It's wonderful. I love it.
Then we had a big balcony. In the summers I like to sit there and (not stick, because I hate it) read or surf on the internet with my wireless network. The balcony is good for many things. Sometimes Törje sit there and sleep in the rocking chair and sometimes he stretch there.
Our bedroom is quite small. We had a double bed and two bedside tables, and that's all. The walls are wine-red and we had wooden floor of oak. There is also a big window, but we always had the jalousie down.
The living room and the kitchen is one room together. It's white, big and wonderful. There is the balcony too. We had a projector and a big cloth on the striped white wall. The sofa is big, white and very confortable. The big windows are very, very good. The sun is always shining throws the windows and in to our apartment. Here we also have two white bookshelfs and a boat picture over the sofa.
Our kitchen is quite of new. We renovate it in 2008. Everytime someone visit us, they are always in the kitchen. Everyone want's to cooking. So, it's nice! :) I love our kitchen! And that's what Törje do too. We have everything in the kitchen. If you want an egg boiler, we have it. I think we have at least three blenders and four salad baskets. So there is everything.
Here you can see our living room part and the balcony... ...and our awesome kitchen!
When I'm not home, I like to go to the café 'Awesome centre café' and take a coffee and a piece of cake or something.
Chapter 3 - the storm When I woke up this morning, the sun was shining. It was like a summer day, hot and without any clouds. It was very, very nice and our apartment been very light and it felt much bigger. I love that weather, so we sat on the balcony and ate our breakfast. It was kind of good, but during the breakfast, the clouds came. Not so fast, just slow and sure. Then the cold came, just exactly when I would drink my morning coffee. So Törje and me take all the things from the balcony and went in. We closed the door out to our balcony, because it was so cold. We sat in the kitchen and drunk our coffee and read the internet paper. I did that, but Törje read the morning paper instead. Then something weird was happen, it started to rain. Yes, you don't understand why it's so weird, but it is. If the sun was shining like a hot summer day in the early morning and then after like one and a half hour it started to rain. I think is very weird.
During the day nothing interesting was happen. Just one thing and it's exactly what I want to talk about now:
When we had ate lunch and clean up and so, it start blew very, very much. Me and Törje couldn't hear each other. It was a very strange noise. Like someone move the furnitures in the living room. But no one did that. Then I remember that when the weather change so fast and someone could die, so should we go to the city basement under the mall in the middle of the city. So me and Törje picked some important things and start go down in our apartment. At the lowest floor it was a long staircase down to the basement. Then it was a very, very long corridor. Quite black, but not so scary. So me and Törje start walking. It felt like the corridor never stop. We went and went and went and went. After like 10 minutes we met Cassie Corndott and Brutus Bajlé. Cassie was born in Jamaica, but now she lives in Awesome Centre with her pig called Paris Hilton and her dog called Pitbull. I feel it like Cassie like to talk about herself and I think Brutus was habituated to hear her talk. During our walk in the corridor she told us a lot of things. She told us about her style, her family, Jamaica and what she do on her spare time. Once in a while she said: 'Did I talk to much?', but we just answer 'no', because we think it was very intrestering to hear about her and her life. After, I don't know really, but maybe 15 minutes or so, we came to a door. But it wasn't just a door, it was a sign too. But I don't know what it said, because it was in Russian language. But I thought it mean 'welcome' or 'hi' or something like that. Exactly when we came to the door I remember it was the BRB - the Big Russian Basement. When we came in to the basement it was vodka everywhere. Cheap Russian vodka. I don't like that vodka actually - more expensive, better taste I think. <-- CASSIE CORNDOTT
The basement was quite big with a lot of things. Among others a lot of people and vodka (you know), chess tables, some odd shoes and other stuff, like twenty different chairs, beds and a bar of wood. Actually almost everything was knitted!
After a while I met a women called Elsa Wackie. She was quite nice actually, very strange sometimes, but I feel safe when I'm with her. We played chess, a lot of times and she convince me to drink the bad, cheap vodka. Then we laughed and have fun and it was very, very nice. I don't think I ever have so fun with a friend. But then I feel the vodka in my body and it wasn't funny anymore, because I'm too old to drink so much vodka. So I walk slowly over the floor and finally I fall down in a little bed. The bed was too small for me, but I didn't want to change. I felt very, very bad and it wasn't nice, it was like I were sick or so. After that I think I fall asleep or something, because I can't remember anything from it. ELSA WACKIE -->
When I woke up later, it was exactly in the meeting. From the beginning I couldn't understand what the meeting was about. But when my head ache came, slow and sure I start to understand. Obviously the food was gone and eaten up. So this meeting was about who will bring some new food. Everyone scream and it feels like they don't agree with each other. It was a strong, hard meeting and noone wanted to go outside and bring some new food. Finally the meeting was over and on the last scrap of paper it stood:
. So Normal guy went out to bring us food and that was very good, because I was very hungry.
During the time, when Normal guy bring us food, I met the guy who had built the tunnel and basment - Tojojski Radojvski. He were born in the capital of Russia - Moskva - and for like a half year ago he came to Awesome Centre. Tojojski told me about
his parents and the money, his brother (Vladimir Radojvski, who live in Awesome Centre too), his job in a security company and some other random stuff. He was nice, but a little bit weird, I think. We talk like a half hour or so, and it was a weird conversation. But it was nice to met him.
Normal Guy was away a very, very long time and everyone started to lost their patience. So we start a party and a lot of peeps start drinking vodka and dance. I don't know where the music came from, but it was music there too. It was a nice party, but the music was quite bad. :(
When I danced I didn't feel my head ache, so I danced a lot. But one time I start to think of Törje. Where was he?? What was he doing?? And did he think of me?? Actually I didn't missed him, but I was wondering what he was doing......but I continued dancing. The party was going on and when Normal guy came back with food, he started a new party! A food party. It was nice, because he had found a lot of good food. Everyone ate and it was very nice. Some of the food there was chicken, crisps, different kinds of sausage, a lot of water (and vodka), pasta and burgers. When the food was totally gone, everyone was full. It felt like I could roll to a bed and just fall asleep. But I didn't.
Noone known what the time was, but after a while it felt like night. And finally everyone was in bed. It was a horrible time, that night. Because I were still full and almost everyone was snore. It felt like I'd never fall asleep that night. Actually I did that, but just for one hour or so.
We lived in the Big Russian Basement for some days, I don't know how many, but like three days or something. Actually it was me who was going upstairs and looked at the weather after a too long time.
It felt like omg, what have I decided to do, when I was going in the long tunnel. I was going for a whole lifetime, I thought. But finally I came to the stairs.
When I came up I saw something very unnice. Everything were broken, unless the houses. It was broken things everywere. But the sun was shining and the weather was nice. In a few minutes I stood outside and just take some deep breathes. It was very nice, because in the basement it was very, very muggily and dark and so. If you had been there you would know.
Suddenly I went down again and during the walk I was thinking about the life above the basement. I was thinking about what had happend if we had been up on the ground, during the storm. And I was wondering about if someone died by the storm... in the middle of my thoughts I was in the basement again. There it was very cool. Everyone take it easy and it was very cool. Slowly I went to the crowd, to tell them that we could went up to our centre again. Almost everyone ran up to their apartments and they were very happy. When almost everyone were gone, it was just me and Elsa left. Then I start thought of Törje and I went up to look for him.
When I came up to our apartment (which was nearly ready, some things were broken), Törje wasn't there. But actually, I didn't cared. I didn't missed him.
I went around in the house to see if some more things were broken. But it was just the projector, the kitchen table and some small things, which were broken. Just in that time I remembered that it was a young boy on the floor in the basement. I take a deep breath and ran out from the apartment and down to the Big Russian Basement. When I came into the basement, there was noone there. Just around the corner (there I know the boy was before) there was he. Half dead and with closed eyes. My heart started to beat faster and faster and the tears weren't far away. I felt if the boy could breath and then I take him on my back, like I had learnt on the courses with the Red Cross union in Awesome Centre I took in my youth days. Slowly I started to go in the corridor and I thought about life and the dead.
About one hour later, I leave the boy on the Awesome Hospital in Awesome Centre. I was wondering who he was. Actually I haven't seen him before.
On the hospital it was a nice nurse who took care about the boy. She said to me that I could go home and breath and relax. After this stressed time, it would be good for me, she said. But I didn't want to leave him alone on the hospital. But I didn't know what to do either.
A few days after I had leaved the boy on the hospital, someone ring on my door. It was exactly when I had a thought to do that day to some special day. But I went to the door and opened it. There was he - in a wheelchair - the boy I left on the hospital, with a girl. He was cleaned and fresh, with some small scars. I invited him to some coffee and a piece of cake. It turned out that his name was Cedric Montgomery and the girl was his assistent, who name was Marta. Cedric was a bit nerdy I think. But he told me a funny thing. A lot of times he thanked me that I have taked him to the hospital and so. When he left my apartment, the clock had been quarter past six on the evening. I think he need some company and someone to talk with. Marta was quiet, but I gave her a cup of coffee and a piece of shop-baked vanilla cake.
